You get taxed when you buy property, then you pay huge building permit taxes, then all your building materials are taxed, your tools are taxed, your vehicle to carry your tools, you get taxed on the people you hire, more taxes for every single thing to do with your vehicle and more taxes on top of that even if you already own it. Then they tax everything that leads to your house or goes in your house. If you die they charge huge inheritance tax, if the house is sold, listen, appraised, inspected, worked on, improved or anything else that is all taxed too. Then you could follow every single thing you bought for the house and trace the taxes of the people that made it, the people that shipped it, the people that stocked it, the people that sold it, the profit made from selling it, the time it took for the employees to collect and pay the tax and the paper, envelope, pen and trip to mail the tax. The check is taxed, the account the check is drawn on pays taxes and every single thing that has anything to do with the trail of, to or away from every single thing I mentioned plus it keeps on going...
This is completely nuts. Is ANYONE ok with all of this????

Ya, I'm really not ok with it either. This has been something that has bothered me for quite some time. Taxation in this country has gone absolutely crazy! Also, if you study the history of taxation in this country and when and how it started, you would be amazed!! It was never supposed to be this way.
The Revolutionary War started on the basis of taxation without representation, and look at us now...
The point now is that you have representation. Why not take a chance and talk to your elected officials, instead of being sad about it?
