Dell Schanze sets another world record!!!

On September 4th of 2007 Dell Schanze set a new world record for a Powered Skydiving Trike by reaching an altitude of 15,833 ft. Flying only a 21sm glider he stated he could have gone much higher on a normal 31sm glider so this record is only the beginning.

Dell- Next time you're gliding over the Great Salt Lake, can you take your camera and snap a few aerial photos of the old Saltair site? Not the new structure, but the old site about a mile to the East. I can email you the exact location if you'd like, but it's fairly easy to find. Just follow the trestle out from the old abandoned concrete building.

I'm working on a history of the old Saltair for my website, www.bonnevillemariner.com and could really use some current aerial photos.

No problem at all. Or if you like I'll get you up in the air so you can take the pictures:). Just give me a call anytime at 801-631-1731, tell me exactly what you want or even meet me out there and show me and I'll be happy to get some pictures for you.

Awesome! I'll give you a call. By the way, I was driving out that way yesterday evening and saw somebody flying above the old site. That wasn't you, was it?

Yes I was out flying but no it wasn't me that you saw, it was a new guy. That's why nobody crashed, sued, filed complaints or made arrests. Imagine if it were me you had seen from the freeway haha. That was his 3rd or 4th flight, he just got started and is loving it. I can't fly where everyone else flies. There is a law against being SUPERDELL as you know. I'm out flying all the time so give me a call and I'll meet you out there if you like and get some pictures for you. I also have tons of them already if you want to email me directly. Of course they all have paragliders in them:). You can email me at info@totallyawesome.com
